
Dr. Johnson respects the ever-changing science of dentistry, and he earns approximately 50 continuing education credits each year. By doing so, he is able to bring the latest techniques and tools to his patients. During his education, Dr. Johnson received a number of academic awards including the Distinguished Student Award from Texas A&M, the Dean’s List at Baylor College of Dentistry, and the Chancellor’s Award from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He has also earned the distinction of Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Much of his
advanced work has come in the areas of implant dentistry, bone regeneration, and cosmetic procedures.

As a periodontist, Dr. Jaynes specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease. She has also received extensive training in the areas of oral medicine, cosmetic gum grafting, and the placement of dental implants. As part of Dr. Jaynes’ specialization, she received three more years of training after dental school to focus strictly on periodontology.
